While preparing for Giving Tuesday fundraising activities this past week we got to thinking... we in the nonprofit world do a lot of asking: asking for support; asking for donations; asking to be remembered during the holidays, a time of year that already puts sizable demands on your time, energy and resources. And when you respond to those requests, as so many of you do, it warms our hearts and reminds us we truly are in this thing called life together.
So, this holiday season, we want to focus on YOU: the people, organizations, and businesses that talk us up, help us out, and empower us to do what we do to the best of our ability. The 2017 Kid Time Gratitude Project will see us posting at least one social media "Thank you!" a day to a donor, sponsor, partner organization, guest, employee, law maker, mentor or volunteer (to name a few) - someone who's proven to be a friend to Kid Time and a champion for kids. We hope you'll join us in honoring the people who've helped us get where we are, and we encourage you to share your stories about being grateful, too. The more we remember to appreciate each other the stronger and happier we'll be, at the holidays and always.
So follow us on Facebook and Twitter! And let the gratitude begin!
