The Brain Forest is New and Improved!

February 19, 2018

It is amazing what a little bit of muscle and a lot of imagination can accomplish!  Three weeks after we closed The Brain Forest for renovation, our wide-open program space has a whole new look, a totally different feel, and much more challenging climbing wall!

The Brain Forest (a play on the term "rain forest") is where we hold many of our classes including Music Time, Super Hero Training, and Star Saber Training so it needed to stay unencumbered with stuff.  That meant our designers and builders* only had the walls and ceiling to work with.  So, our graphics wizard, Jen, painted a fabulous, forest-y mural and stone-looking walls, and builders Connor and Ed assembled a whole new climbing area complete with challenging routes.  To top it all off - literally - they strung foliage along the ceiling and strategically placed a variety of critters around the room - including 10 frogs that Connor challenges you to find!  Add new mats in fun shapes, green-tinted lighting, and forest tones on the surround sound, and hanging out in the Brain Forest is like a mini vacation for kids and parents alike!  Come check it out!

*Big thanks go out to all of Kid time's employees!  Almost everybody got in on the renovation action, lending a hand whenever and wherever they could.  Chalk on up for teamwork!
