Public Hearing to be Held on Future Use of Medford's Historic Carnegie Library Building

February 20, 2018

It's official!  Medford City council will hold a public hearing on proposals submitted by Kid Time and the Southern Oregon Historical Society for possible long-term lease of the former Carnegie Library.  The meeting is planned for 6:00 p.m. April 19th in City Council chambers.  Each organization will have 10 minutes to present their proposal before the floor is opened for public comment.  Each additional speaker will then have 4 minutes to voice their opinion.

The feedback you've shared with us regarding our Carnegie Library proposal has been overwhelmingly positive and reinforces our belief that finding a long-term home that the children's museum and preschool could call their own would be in your best interests as well as ours.  So, if you'd like to join us that evening please do!  And if you're feeling motivated, stop by Kid Time sometime in advance and ask for a pin to wear to show your support.  We would LOVE to see you there!
