Is it Time to Launch Your Kid?

March 6, 2018

If your little one will be turning five years old before the first of September this year, it's time to start thinking about kindergarten!  Medford will be holding Kindergarten Launch information sessions at all the district's public elementary schools today, March 6th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.  Check here to find out which school your child will attend.

The information sessions will:

* Teach you how to get your child registered for kindergarten

* Provide you with tips to prepare your child for kindergarten
* Provide you with an opportunity to ask questions

* Introduce you to school staff

You'll want to attend with your child's:

* immunization record

* birth certificate

* proof of address.

“It’s important that families attend Kindergarten Launch so that they can connect with their neighborhood school,” says Director of Elementary Student Achievement Jeanne Grazioli.  "We want to get to know our kindergarten students and families before school begins, and begin to engage them in activities and events at the school. It will be an informative and exciting evening!”
