Summer Camp Assistants Needed:

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Want to be a positive role model and obtain experience for a resume? Join our summer camp instructor team.  Help with fun activities and play with children during one or more of the Kid Time Summer Camps.  Volunteers must be available for the full time of the camp.  Each camp needs one to two assistants who will join the instructors.

STEAM Summer at Kid Time (Grades K - 5)

All camps run Monday - Thursday from 8 AM to 2 PM.  Assistants need to arrive 15 minutes early.  Plan on leaving at least 15 minutes after the end of camp.  There will also be a mandatory orientation on Monday, June 21 at 10 AM (An additional orientation is being offered June 10th, 3:30). For further information on the individual camps see the Kid Time website at https://www.kid-time.org/summercampsandpreschool.  Must be at least 16 years old.  Under 18 years will require a guardian's permission.

Recycled World - June 21 to 24

Science Days - June 28 to July 1

Artimation - July 5 to 8

Makery Takery - August 9 to 12

Crazy Physics - August 16 to 19

Work Party for the End of the Year Celebration:

 

 

Be one of the elves behind the scenes that makes everything beautiful before the Preschool Celebration. We will be preparing the grounds and decorations for the end of year celebration.  This can include planting flowers, blowing up inflatable decorations, weeding and rose deadheading. 

 

When: Saturday, June 5th from 10 AM to 2 PM

          (Sign up for 1 or multiple hours)

Where: Kid Time Children’s Museum, 413 West Main, Medford

 

All ages are welcome.  Volunteers under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult.  Volunteers under 18 require guardian permission.

We are able to host students for high school and college practicum hours or projects.  Each project is approved on a case by case basis.  If you have a project proposal or need practicum hours then contact Kristi Reynolds.

Want to help but can’t volunteer? 

Here is a list of needed donations:

  • Cardboard tubes (all sizes from toilet paper to huge)

  • Shoe boxes and other boxes that size

  • Egg cartons

  • 1 and 2 liter bottles with lids

  • Plastic containers with lids

  • Peanut butter jars with lids (especially the plastic ones from Jiff or Skippy)

  • Garden trowels

  • Garden hoes and rakes
