Summer Camp Assistants Needed:

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Want to be a positive role model and obtain experience for a resume? Join our summer camp instructor team.  Help with fun activities and play with children during one or more of the Kid Time Summer Camps.  Volunteers must be available for the full time of the camp.  Each camp needs one to two assistants who will join the instructors.

Kid Time Adventure Camps (3 - 6 yr old)

All camps run Tuesday - Thursday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Assistants need to arrive 15 minutes early.  Plan on leaving at least 15 minutes after the end of camp.  There will also be a mandatory orientation on Monday, June 21 at 10 AM. For further information on the individual camps see the Kid Time website at https://www.kid-time.org/summercampsandpreschool.  Must be at least 14 years old.  Under 18 years will require a guardian's permission.

Ecoquest Kit Assembly:

Kid Time is creating Earth Day Ecoquest Adventure Kits and we need your help assembling the kits. Thanks to an incredible volunteer all the sub-assembly is complete and it’s now time to put all the different activities together in the reusable bag. 

Come join the assembly party

When: April 15th at 3 PM

Where: Kid Time Children’s Museum

 

Each EcoQuest Kit has 5 fun activities to help kids learn about the wonderful world around them. The kits will be available for families to pick-up for free on April 22nd, Earth Day, from 2:30 to 6:00 while supplies last.

We are able to host students for high school and college practicum hours or projects.  Each project is approved on a case by case basis.  If you have a project proposal or need practicum hours then contact Kristi Reynolds.

Want to help but can’t volunteer? 

Here is a list of needed donations:

  • Toilet paper tubes or paper towel tubes

  • Garden trowels

  • Garden soil

  • Plastic garden pots of all sizes

  • Sunflower seeds for planting

  • Black oil sunflower seeds for feeding birds

  • Clean mulch or wood chips for under the roses
